12 players to retain Gold

30 November 2019 – Malaysia Rugby Union today has announce the 12 players to represent Malaysia in the 2019 Philippines SEA Games. The team is in the mission to retain the gold the won back in 2017 in Kuala Lumpur.

The announcement saw numbers of surprise with the return of the gold medal team captain, Zulkiflee Azmi to the squad. He was not on the trainee list for the SEA Games due to his commitment for Royal Malaysia Police but selected as the last 12 players. Zulkiflee, however, will not be the team captain this time around as the responsibility is on the shoulder of Md Nasharuddin Ismail.
