1 November 2019 – The International Super KGV 10s 2019 is set to start this morning. The 3 days rugby carnival is one of the largest in Malaysia on the age group format. The tournament will take place at Georgian Green and MPS Field in Seremban.
The young ruggers will be playing in 10 different categories with a total number of 219 teams are set to compete. They are also set to welcome 13 international teams, 6 from Thailand with another 7 will come from Sri Lanka. As for the local, 3 states contributes the most with Johor, Selangor as well as the host state, Negeri Sembilan with 23, 67 and 44 teams each.
The carnival is expected to have 3014 players playing as there will be 10 different categories for boys (11,12,13,14,15 and 16) while the remaining 4 are for girls (11,12,14 and 16)
Tunku Mahkota Ismail Sports School, SM Sains Hulu Selangor and SMK Tun Hussein Onn from Johor are one of the few teams to watch based on their track record. The host, SMK King George V is also expected to do well in their home event.
