17 October 2019 – It was pretty much settle in the Division 2 after the match week 2 last Saturday. PDRM secured the first spot in the play-off with 100% win while luck was with Pahang as they overcame Putrajaya in the match of the week.

Selangor vs Pahang | Padang Astaka, PJ
A draw will be enough for Pahang to secure the top spot in the Division 2 Pool A. It is the match for Pahang to lose as they already win the most crucial encounter against Putrajaya last week. Selangor will be hoping to continue and improve in the last group match. They produce a much better display especially in the second half as they bettered Melaka at MOZAC last week. Mathematically, Selangor can still qualify if they can upset Pahang but they will have to win with a very big margin and hope Melaka to do a miracle and beat Putrajaya in the other group match
Prediction: Pahang to win by 4 tries or more.

Putrajaya vs Melaka | UNITEN, KL
Putrajaya was highly unlucky in their defeat on match week 2. They were the more dominant side but lapse of concentration at the end of the half saw Pahang took advantage. There’s nothing they can do when the officials stop the game due to bad weather. It will be another one way traffic for this week match as Putrajaya should prove to be too much for young Melaka side. Putrajaya will be hoping for Selangor to play their heart out and shocked Pahang, which could open the door for Putrajaya to qualify. Putrajaya will need to win the game with 3 digits score to stand any chance to qualify as Pahang trashed Melaka in the opening week with 101 – 0 scoreline
Prediction: Putrajaya to win by more than 10 tries.

Pulau Pinang vs Perlis | USM Nibong Tebal
PDRM proved to be too good for this 2 northern state in their opening week. They will be playing for pride, for their bragging right. They know each other too well but Perlis could have a slight edge based on their against PDRM. Pulau Pinang is set to rely on their two import but they will need to local players to step up their game to match the quality Perlis have in Amin Jamaluddin and Samuel Rentap.
Prediction: Winners could be decided by kicking tee. We will go with Perlis by the slimmest margin.
