7s team in Bangkok

26 April 2019 – Malaysia 7s teams are travelling to Bangkok as both teams continue their preparation. Both Men and Women are looking for competitive matches and this chance is the perfect opportunity.

Bangkok 7s Invitational will see the men team play 8 test matches over the two days. As for women, they will play 6 matches, 3 on the first while another 3 on Sunday.

Malaysia Men will face Thailand A, Thailand B, Singapore and Laos while the Women team will face Thailand, Laos as well as Chulalongkorn University team.

This will be the second competitive matches for both Men and Women after they produced outstanding display in Borneo 7s last March.

Bangkok 7s Invitational fixtures

Both teams are preparing for the 2019 SEA Games in Philippines with the Men team will want to retain the gold they won back in 2017. The Women team will be wishing to improve on their Bronze after an ounstanding 2018 where they claim the Asia Rugby 7s Women Trophy.
