Jefri halfway to Level 3

31 January 2019 – Jefri Mustafa completed the first phase of Level 3 match officiating (MO) last weekend. He took part in the first phase of the course that took place at the Singapore Sports Institute.

10 participants took the course with Jefri is the only Malaysian. Another 3 came from Sri Lanka while the remaining 6 are the match officials from the host nation, Singapore.

The 2 days course also saw Jefri was given chance to officiate a match of Singapore National League.

The product of Malay College Kuala Kangsar (MCKK) will return to Singapore for the second phase in February.

For the record, Malaysia already has 3 active MO in Level 3, Raja Saiful, Zainuddin Mahsuri and Sansuddin. We also have another 3 MO who are also in the process of completing level 3, Raimee Mansur, Huzaifah Saidin as well as Sharizal Manaf.

32 years started his journey as they match official 5 years back when he was 27 years old. It was after he ended his wonderful 7 years playing career with NS Wanderers and Negeri Sembilan.
