SEMASHUR crowned KGV 7s title

6 August 2018 – The 2018 KGV 7s finally saw SM Sains Hulu Selangor (SEMASHUR) lifted the championship trophy. This is the first time for SEMASHUR to win the KGV 7s after 4 years of disappointment.

KGV 7s became the place for SEMASHUR to redeemed themselves after their surprise exit in the SBP 7s after they lost to SM Sains Faris Petra in the quarter-final match a month ago. Big things were expected for SEMASHUR Under 16 team during the SBP 7s as this is the team who won the 2017 MSSM Milo Under 15 last year.

SEMASHUR lifted the KGV 7s title after they overcame the host, SMK King George V in the final match.

The first day went well for all the top team. SEMASHUR recorded the 100% record and ranked third for the knockout round draw. They comfortably beat Melaka High School, SMK Temin and SMK Bukit Kepayang in the group B.
