ARC kick off times and locations confirmed
20 February 2018 – Asia Rugby has announced the time for all 6 Asia Rugby Championship matches. The matches between Malaysia, South Korea and Hong Kong are set to be in in the evening.
National Stadium Bukit Jalil will be the biggest Stadium to host two matches as Malaysia hosts South Korea and Hong Kong. With the capacity of nearly 90 000, it is set to welcome the most crowd in all 6 matches. Malaysia wrote the history to play in the stadium for the first time ever earlier this month as they dismantle local club, KL Tigers in a friendly match.
Namdong Asiad Stadium in South Korea is the only stadium specifically for rugby. Namdong was used to host rugby during the 2014 Asia Games in South Korea.
The Asia Rugby Championship decider could be in Hong Kong Football Club Stadium. This is the smallest of all 3 locations but could provide the toughest challenge for Malaysia team as Hong Kong is such a strong team as what they showed during their match against Japan last year in their home soil.
