2 November 2017 – COBRA will be having their first ever COBRA 10s Ladies tournament this coming weekend. The tournament which is schedule to take place at the MBPJ Stadium Kelana Jaya should be interesting to watch. This tournament will take the women category to another level and we could expect to see some new raw talent shining.

11 teams have confirm their participation. The tournament host, COBRA Venom will send two teams to fight for the title. They will be divided into two group, A and B. However, they will only know their group this coming Friday, right after the team manager group meeting at COBRA.

Rugby fans will be able to watch 30 matches in this two days tournament. The team will be playing in their group before fighting for the title based on their group rank.

FRC Dingoes will be one of the team to look for in this tournament. With well experience players all over the team, that could give them the edge over the rest of the contender. Dingoes also won the ELITE 7s earlier this year.

Another team who could challenge for the title is the host. There are no news on the line up of both COBRA Venom team but they are expected to field in strong squad on their home soil.

Letto Rhinos Miri will be the only team from Borneo. 3 members from the 2017 Kuala Lumpur SEA Games Bronze medalist squad are expected to feature for Letto. That could give them foundation to fight for title.

Rugby fans should be making their trip to MBPJ this weekend to watch the first ever COBRA Ladies tournament. We expect firework from all the matches.
