Rimau 7s – The Squad Part 3

Wan Izzuddin Ismail hails from Johor started playing during his early secondary school days. Inspired by his elder brother, Wan Omar Ismail and cousin, Wan Muhd Yusuf. Wan currently play for UPM Angels. One of his fondest memories was winning ARX 2015 at MBPJ Stadium. Talking about his darkest hours, his team suffered a defeat against Thailand in Asian University Games in 2016. They ended up with a Silver Medal instead of a Gold Medal.

Wan will strive hard to create a history as Malaysia have yet to win a gold in the 7s event.
Muhammad Zulhisham bin Rasli or Ise currently plays for ASAS RC, the former player for Sekolah Sultan Alam Shah. He developed his playing skills under the supervision of Cikgu Nasrul. Ise won the best player award for SBP 10s in 2011, played in ARFU U20, Asian 7 series in 2015 and 2016.

Suffered a major knee injury in 2013. However, has made full recovery since then.
Both of them Wan and Ise are ready to rumble and put their bodies in harm’s way. Are we?
We bid Rimau 7s all the best in their quest for Gold Medals. Bring it home boys!
