Update – UiTM Lions’ import passed away

7 February 2017 – UiTM Lions import player from Fiji, Timoci Ramo Raliwalala passed away without making a single appearance for his new team at the 2017 AirAsia Malaysia Rugby League. The news was confirmed by the UiTM Lions management.

Timoci passed away at 4.19 am at a hospital in Shah Alam. Representative from Fiji embassy visited him on Sunday by the time he got hospitalised. The doctor said that Timoci Rami Raliwalala could have the virus even before he enter Malaysia. His death is due to Fulminant Septic Shock Secondary to Meliodosis with Multi Organ Failure

One minute silences will be perform before the match start at all the 2017 AirAsia Malaysia Rugby League matches this weekend. UiTM Lions will certainly miss Timoci services as they need to bounce back in their second match after the lost the first 19 – 32 to ASAS RC.

UiTM Lions next game is on 12th February 2017 as they will take on Kelab Sukan DBKL at Padang A, UPM. Both team need to win to reignite their challenge at the 2017 AirAsia Malaysia Rugby League
